Birth Boot Camp’s Summit helped me to get back into focus, remember why I love my job as much as I do, and to get pumped about it. It helped me to feel more confident in myself and gave me the energy to keep going. I met other birth workers, and we got excited about the same things. We got to talk about our passions for birth work. It was fun to spend that weekend with other like minded folks! It got me excited about what I do!
I think the biggest way going to the Birth Leaders Summit help me and my business grow was that it gave me a fresh spark. I felt renewed and ready to go back out in my community and make a difference. I don’t remember the speaker’s name, but she spoke about balancing home and work. It helped me to remember to take care of myself and my family too. I also think it helped me build a sense of connection with other birth workers. I was finally able to put a face to the names I’ve seen online!
I loved attending the Summit because it was such a fun time to be with my birth peers. I think fellowship with other birth people where you can socialize and talk about things that you all ‘get’ was the greatest benefit for me and my business. Getting affirmation that this business is important and valued. I actually really enjoyed learning about utilizing our social media to strengthen our business the most. It’s so great to have the opportunity to connect in person with others.
I loved having a chance to spend time face to face with so many other childbirth educators and doulas at retreat! Building those relationships and connections helps my business, helps me better support my clients, and is also just a really fun time.
